Requirements
With an influx of new students, St Laurence College needed a quick solution for an estate challenge before the start of the new term in September. They needed two buildings to support six pupils each to offer one-to-one learning for children with special educational needs.
Portakabin was approached thanks to its expertise in working with the education sector and previous examples of completing projects in a short amount of time.

Solution
Two classrooms were created using Portakabin Ultima modules, which offer large windows that welcome lots of natural light, and an open-plan floor space arrangement, allowing for a more welcoming learning environment.
Portakabin was able to overcome challenges with the site conditions and access to deliver the classrooms for the new students entering the school. Each building was provided with a quiet room to ensure that the students were able to be as comfortable as possible.
We are really happy with the classrooms Portakabin provided us with. Our students find the extra space allows for a much better environment for their one-to-one learning. Portakabin worked closely with us to make sure that we could provide our students with everything they need.

Blackrock College
When prestigious boys' school Blackrock College undertook a major construction programme to update and rebuild its 147-year-old senior school, extensive temporary facilities were required so that the boys' education could continue uninterrupted.
Little Einstein's Nursery
Large nursery provided at very short notice by Portakabin Allspace to meet increased demand for pre-school places.
St Patrick's College
When buildings were demolished to make way for a new development, St Patrick's college needed to source interim teaching accommodation to serve the students until the new building was completed.
