Derek Carter, CEO of Portakabin, explains how the company continues to operate and details the ways the business will deliver in light of recent events, while protecting its employees, customers and partners.
Across the UK and Europe, we are all now adapting to a completely new way of life.
As a business, we are continuing to review our response to the COVID-19 crisis in line with Government guidelines and are assessing the situation regularly to ensure we are operating in the safest way possible.
In doing so, the health, safety and wellbeing of our employees, our customers, our partners and the public is and will always remain our number one priority.
With the majority of our office-based employees now working remotely, we are concentrating on ensuring our frontline teams in our factories, depots, customer sites and yards are able to carry out their essential work safely. This is incredibly important.
With the ever changing situation, we have been working hard to ensure we remain open for business in support of the unprecedented level of demand from healthcare providers, Government and other essential services across the UK and Europe.
I would like to thank all employees, customers and partners for their on-going commitment and dedication to this cause.
We are extremely proud to be able to support our nation and other European nations at this incredibly challenging time.
