After temporary loss of teaching space, the University appointed Portakabin to provide an additional teaching facility in time for the new academic year.
Our priorities were speed, quality and cost efficiency and Portakabin has excelled in each area. We are delighted that the building was handed over in time for the new academic year.
Staff and students settled into our excellent new facilities, which replicate what we have in our original building, aiding us to deliver the same rich curriculum to our students for the year and ensuring their education is not impacted by the temporary move.

In June, Discovery Special Academy, on Sandy Flatts Lane in Middlesbrough, welcomed the installation of its new secondary department. The building will be home to 70 new secondary students aged 11-16 with special educational needs and disabilities

Applefields School on Bad Bargain Lane, York is a secondary school for young people with additional needs. The school’s classrooms were in need of a urgent makeover and Portakabin volunteered to offer people power, support and materials.
